A series of silent film classics with live music
We need to revisit silent films and experience them in the atmosphere for which they were made: high-level social and musical events. This time we will enjoy The General (1926) starring the brilliant Buster Keaton, a comedy that has been rated the second best film of all time. It’s a crazy love story set aboard a locomotive with the gags and
stunts that only the great Keaton knew how to do. It tells the story of Johnny Gray and his failed desire to join the army. Johnny, the train, the girl and the enemy are the undisputed stars of this comedy of war, told from the point of view of the losing side.
